Kitchen Garden Working Bee!

Stanmore Public School Working Bee

Our Stage 1 and 2 students have done such a fantastic job in the garden this past term, but there’s only so much heavy lifting these littlies can do!

We are calling on all lovers of dirty hands, outdoorsy work and connecting with the community to join us for a Kitchen Garden Working Bee on Sunday, April 18, 9am-12pm.

Our Stage 1 and 2 parents will get first preference (since we won’t see you until Term 3!) but everyone is welcome to sign up!

We need help preparing the overgrown back end of the garden for our Stage 3 and Kindergarten students to create flower meadows, frog habitats, vine castles and other fun growing things. We can find jobs for all abilities, experiences and degrees of green thumb.

Volunteers will need to bring your own gardening gloves, a hat and water bottles. Refreshments will be rustled up from the kitchen.

This is a family friendly event for supervised children!

Really looking forward to seeing you!
