Outcome of Out of School Hours Care Tender

Stanmore Public School OSHC

Dear Parents and Carers,

The recent tender process for provision of Out of School Hours (OOSH) Care at Stanmore Public School has been completed. The After School Klub (TASK) was competitively chosen as the successful tenderer.

This means that as of the start of the new licence agreement (Day 1, Term 2), TASK will be the sole provider of OOSH care service at Stanmore PS.

A large number of applications were received and considered by the evaluation panel. The panel comprised of two parent representatives, a staff representative, the previous principal and a panel convenor from School Infrastructure NSW. The decision was based on fee submission and ability to deliver a quality service.

I would like to recognise and thank the Inner West Council OOSH service for providing quality care for children in the Stanmore community for many years. TASK and Inner West Council will work together with the school and community to facilitate a smooth transition between services.

Under new legislation regulating OOSH services, the required space per child has been decreased, and so the capacity of services to offer spaces has increased. TASK have assured us that there will be enough room to accommodate all Stanmore PS families who apply for places.

Regular updates will be provided to families about how the transition between services will occur, and how to ensure you can access the care you need for your children.

Kind regards,

Hugh Miller
