Stage 2 “Spoonville” Plant Markers

One of the few joys of lockdown was seeing “Spoonvilles” (wooden spoon villages) created and painted by children spring up in parks throughout the Inner West.

This motivated Stage 2 students to paint plant names and pictures on wooden spoons to bring some of this brightness and cheer to the new garden. The new plants (native 3/4P, herbs 3/4B and 3/4C, fruit/veg 3/4A and flowers 3/4G) are thriving and the students enjoyed searching for their plants and installing their plant markers.

A big thank you to Miss Ludemann for her vision and work in establishing the new garden.
